Why attach protection at the counter?
Hardware margins on phones and appliances keep compressing. A protection plan attached to a device sale adds margin on a sale you already made, with no stock, no credit deposit and no fulfilment. Assurify reports 1,200+ active retail stores across India on the platform.
The setup, step by step
- Register the store on merchant.assurify.in. No security deposit is required.
- Install the counter app and create logins for each sales representative.
- Sell at the counter. Generate a policy activation QR code, the customer scans it, the device is verified, and cover activates digitally in about 30 seconds.
- Certificate dispatch is automatic. The policy PDF goes to the buyer over WhatsApp and email the moment payment completes.
- Get paid. Commission is tracked per plan and per employee, and paid to the store's bank account weekly - 100% paperless.
What a store actually earns
Commission is per plan and scales with the plan value. Examples from the Assurify Merchant dashboard: ₹899 on a flagship smartphone plan, ₹499 on a 1.5-ton air conditioner plan, and ₹249 on a mid-range phone plan. A store selling 138 plans in a month shows earnings of about ₹42,900 against ₹4,29,000 in plan sales value.
These are dashboard illustrations, not a rate card. Current commission slabs are published to partners on the merchant platform.
What the customer gets
The same plan terms as any Assurify plan: zero co-payment on active plans, brand-authorised genuine spares, and doorstep pickup and return in 200+ cities. Claims run through Assurify, not through your store, so a claim never becomes a counter argument.
Who is this for?
- Mobile showrooms and multi-brand phone retailers
- Electronics and home-appliance stores
- Service centres adding a protection line
- Distributors managing several counters under one dashboard
